Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Location: Houston, TX 77038 Pay Rate: $17.50 / hour Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime Available) (Hiring Immediately – 2 Openings)

Job Summary: We are hiring immediately for two (2) dependable and experienced Warehouse Associates / Forklift Operators to join our client's team located in Houston, TX 77038. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, picking/packing and maintaining an organized inventory. The ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, a solid background in warehouse operations, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, stack, load, and unload pallets and materials.
• Shipping & Receiving: Receive, inspect, and log inbound shipments; prepare and verify documentation for outbound freight.
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to work orders and pick lists.
• Inventory Control: Assist with counting, organizing, and stocking warehouse inventory to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Safety & Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-operation forklift inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 2+ years of consistent experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment (Required).
• Equipment: Proven experience operating a forklift. Certification not required, but preferred.
• Logistics Core Skills: Solid background in Shipping & Receiving, Picking, and Packing processes.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a typical warehouse climate.
• Requirements: Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and be willing to undergo a background check.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.50 Per Hour
